Dad and I started work on the front garden today, we built a feather edge fence first, then built a gate to match. We then dug the bushes up and moved them up to the new fence to leave a gap level with the front door. We then built a wide gate at the front, initially we had a curved top, but it looked odd, so we cut it off and made it straight. We then slabbed from the front door to the pavement using the same slabs which go to the drive. At night Rachel got a twig heart from a garden center and we fixed that to the gate which really finishes it off.
