Today we went to Lyme Regis. It was only about a 30 min drive from where we were staying. We parked right at the top of the town as there was a big queue to get in to the center. It was only £2 to park, but I only had £1.80. So Rachel stayed with the car and I walked in to the center to get some change and then had to walk all the way back to the car up the hill. We went for a walk along the beach, found a nice spot and setup the blanket. We laid in the sun for a while before packing up and heading off to find some food. Rachel got a bench near the beach and I went and got some chips and we sat watching the sea while eating. In the afternoon we went for a walk along the pier and then up in to the hills. We then found a little tea shop and stopped for some afternoon tea and scones.
