Dad and I have just been skiing in Nassfeld, Austria. We stayed in the hotel Franz Ferdinand, which is a great concrete and glass box that sits at the bottom of the number 80 run. Nassfeld has not really been accessable to the English before as there is no direct flight, but we were on the 1st flight out of the UK direct. We got a really good deal on the hotel because of this. At the start of the week the temperature was +12 degrees, which was lovely at lunch to sit and sunbathe. Towards the end of the week the weather turned and we had over a meter of snow fall, this totally changes the skiing, we were now skiing down runs, with snow over our knees, which with our all mountain skies is really nice. We had a great holiday and would go back to the hotel and resort again.
